Salary
If the salary, due to reduced work capacity, is lower than the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) minimum wage, approval to pay below the minimum wage must be obtained from the joint commission.
Work Trial through Disability Insurance (IV)
For a work trial through Disability Insurance (IV), no contract is required. A work trial typically lasts 3-6 months. During the work trial, wages are paid in the form of a daily allowance from Disability Insurance (IV). Insurance benefits are also guaranteed through Disability Insurance (IV). The goal of the work trial is to achieve permanent employment afterwards, whenever possible.
