Easy Language
Easy Language is a tool that particularly benefits people with cognitive impairments. However, many other people also find reading difficult. Easy Language is a simplified form of Standard German with its own rules and structures. There are translation agencies (e.g., from Pro Infirmis) that specialize in Easy Language. If you, as an employer, wish to hire a person with an intellectual disability, we recommend using Easy Language. This allows for barrier-free communication, as texts and instructions are more easily understood.
