Online Learning Modules
The online course 'Foundational Knowledge – Inclusion – Disability – Work' is designed for employees and managers, providing essential insights into inclusion.
The Inclusion Check
This check utilizes an anonymous survey to provide insight into an organization's current state of Diversity & Inclusion, identifying areas where action may be needed.
Inclusive Job Design
Analysis of work processes and creation of new job profiles to specifically integrate people with disabilities. Profil this method exclusively in Switzerland.
Online Course 'Foundational Knowledge – Inclusion – Work'
Why are individuals still excluded in our modern society? While diversity is often celebrated, persistent weaknesses prevent full participation for all. However, this is precisely where you can make a significant impact!
Inclusion is more than just a buzzword; it represents a fundamental mindset and a crucial element for fostering a more just and humane community. Participating in this course is a vital step towards identifying existing shortcomings and actively contributing to their resolution.

Structure
- The online course is divided into four modules. Three of these are basic modules and one is intended for employees in management positions.
- Each module focuses on a specific topic and is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of inclusion within approximately 40 minutes.
- It comprises concise texts, interactive quizzes, and practical exercises that enable participants to explore the meaning and various facets of inclusion.
- These learning modules are built upon the Moodle Learning Management System. Upon request and subject to compatibility, they can be integrated into your organization's existing LMS.
Content
Introductory Quiz:
- Designed for anyone interested in the topics of disability and inclusion who wishes to assess their current knowledge.
- To expand one's understanding and gain further insight into the various aspects of disabilities and their societal impact.
Modules 1-4:
- Module 1: Understanding Inclusion – Meaning, Rights, and Psychological Aspects
- Module 2: Communication as a Key to Inclusion
- Module 3:Diversity of disabilities and clinical pictures, dealingwith unconscious bias, uncertainties, and reservations
- Module 4: Inclusive leadership: actively promoting and managing diversity (optional module for managers)
Final Quiz and Certificate:
- A certificate is awarded upon achieving more than 80% correct answers.
- Basic certificate: Graduates of the three basic modules receive the
certificate: "Basic Knowledge of Inclusion – Disability – Work." - Certificate for managers: Graduates who complete the additional fourth module will receive the certificate: "Basic Knowledge of Inclusion – Disability – Work & Inclusive Leadership."

Inclusion-Check
How inclusive is the work environment in your company? To measure this, there is the Inclusion-Check. This tool was developed by Health & Medical Service AG in collaboration with the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and is provided free of charge with financial support from the EBGB.
An assessment clarifies how inclusive your company already is. We assist you in conducting the survey, evaluating the results, and jointly planning the next steps. Ideally, this is combined with a workshop that also involves employees.
Based on this, an action plan tailored specifically to your company will be developed.
The Inclusion-Check is available free of charge in a basic version. More in-depth analyses covering multiple areas can be purchased for a fee.
The «Inclusion-Check» application is based on the survey and analysis tool «Incluscope», which was developed from 2018 to 2020 by Health & Medical Service AG (HMS), MindStep, and Helsana.
The thematic area «Diversity & Inclusion» was supported by the scientific partner Prof. Dr. Stephan Böhm, Center for Disability and Integration at the University of St.Gallen (CDI-HSG), and financially by the Federal Bureau for the Equality of People with Disabilities (EBGB).
