For 25 years, Profil has been bringing together Profil with disabilities, employers, and clients.
On the occasion of the 2019 anniversary, we gave a voice to affected employees and employers.
In collaboration with renowned documentary filmmaker Otto C. Honegger, 9 impressive film portraits were created.
We have now expanded these portraits by four. All of them focus on the theme of "Invisible Disability."

Sandro Fancoli (25) receives disability benefits due to a learning disability. However, he wanted to work for his income. Passugger Mineralquellen AG offered him this opportunity. This film portrait illustrates how he secured this position and what Sandro Fancoli's daily work life looks like now.
Traumatic Brain Injury
At 17, Ueli Zahnd (42) suffered a severe accident and sustained a traumatic brain injury. Since then, he has been striving to rebuild his life. His goal was to transition from a sheltered workshop back into the open job market. Jörg & Co Metallbau AG in Schmitten is providing him with this opportunity.
Transitioning Off Disability Benefits
Transitioning off disability benefits? It is possible, as demonstrated by the example of Andreas Buchschacher (44). Due to his learning disability, he was receiving disability benefits. He is now regularly employed at Werkhof Laupen and no longer receives disability benefits. A significant achievement!
Hearing Impairment
Clarice Miguel (28) is deaf, but that doesn't slow her down. She was determined to enter the "normal" working world, and Profil her in this endeavor. Hana Huber from McDonald's in Wädenswil hired her. How do they communicate? How do they get along?

As Samuel Bender (23) requires a bit more time to learn than others, the initial weeks in a new job are challenging for him, as well as for the new employer. This film profiles him and his employer, DISA Elektro AG in Sarnen.
Whiplash Injury
Karin Doudin (44): A moped accident during work changed everything. This film shows how she subsequently found a suitable position as an administrative assistant at the Lucerne Passport Office despite a whiplash injury, and what work means to her.
Multiple Disabilities
The film features Gerhard Arndt (63), who lives with various limitations. He does not receive a pension but wishes to work. As a trained precision mechanic, he found a tailored position at the high-tech company BSF Bünter AG in Heerbrugg.
Epilepsy
Dennis Kläy (26) has suffered from epilepsy since he was 12 years old. The side effects of his strong medication significantly impact him. He receives disability benefits but still wants to work, and has successfully entered the primary job market as a salesperson at VOM FASS Winterthur.
