St. Gallen Inclusion Index
The St.Gallen Inclusion Index (SGII) is a central component of the Inclusion Check. It is based on four dimensions: belonging and authenticity at the individual level, and equal opportunities and diversity of perspectives at the organizational level. To allow for comparison with other organizations in Switzerland, a benchmark is also presented as a reference value.
Inclusion
Inclusion means that all employees feel accepted and valued. They see themselves as equal members of the team, can be authentic, and have equal opportunities for participation and success. These aspects of inclusion are important not only for individuals but also for the organization as a whole. Inclusion enhances employer attractiveness and provides access to a larger talent pool for recruiting qualified professionals. Furthermore, inclusion enables companies to better address the needs of a diverse customer base, leading to improved customer loyalty and satisfaction.
