On March 7, the Forum.Integration took place in St. Gallen on the topic of "Successful professional integration of people with disabilities." After a two-year break due to COVID-19, it was a successful event with good insights and interesting information on a current topic. The event was attended by 150 interested participants, who listened to presentations on offers for employers in the context of the professional integration of people with disabilities before the award ceremony. Brigitte Lüchinger, president of the Rheintal Employers' Association, gave the welcoming address. Then the Compasso information portal and the resource-oriented integration profile REP were presented. Afterwards, two employees reported on their success stories in the primary labor market, with and without IV pensions.

Since 2016, Forum.Integration in St. Gallen has been awarding the Eastern Switzerland Professional Integration Prize. Due to the coronavirus measures, the 2020 prize could not be presented until the 2022 forum. The prize went to the Schmidheiny carpentry workshop.
