The Lucerne Association for Barrier-Free Construction (HBLU) advocates for “barrier-free construction for all” in both the public and private sectors. The HBLU office provides the necessary services to achieve this.

What you can expect:

• They review building permit applications for construction projects in the canton of Lucerne and prepare statements on them.
• They advise architectural firms and building owners on legal requirements, standards, and accessibility.
• In specific cases, you assist people with disabilities in making adjustments to their homes, educational settings, or workplaces.
• They advocate for barrier-free construction with government agencies, administrative bodies, and other relevant stakeholders in the canton of Lucerne.

Your profile:

• Interest in the needs of people with disabilities
• A degree in architecture, civil engineering, urban planning, or a related field
• Digital proficiency & strong MS Office skills
• An appreciation for the law, legal standards, and precise, well-reasoned writing
• Think holistically and ensure requirements are met
• Effective self-management and accountability while working from home
• Independent mobility
• Connection to the Canton of Lucerne
